The South Korean automaker, Kia Motors is all set to make its India debut in the year 2019. The company has already started working on its first car plant in Andhra Pradesh which is operational by 2019. Kia Motors is planning to launch a wide range of cars in India, starting from entry-level hatchbacks to premium SUVs. Here is a list of upcoming Kia cars in India that are expected to launch in the year 2023.

1. Kia Picanto
The Kia Picanto is a sub-4 meter hatchback that will be the entry-level offering from the brand in India. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 5 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete against the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and the VW Polo. The Picanto will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 82 BHP and 115 Nm of torque. It will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while an optional automatic gearbox will also be on offer.
2. Kia Rio
The Kia Rio is a sub-4 meter sedan that will sit above the Picanto in the brand’s India line-up. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 8 lakh (ex-showroom) and will take on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and the Honda City. The Rio will be powered by a 1.4-litre petrol engine that produces 103 BHP and 137 Nm of torque. It will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard while an optional automatic gearbox will also be on offer.
3. Kia Seltos
The Kia Seltos is a compact SUV that will be the brand’s first offering in the segment in India. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom) and will go up against the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the Nissan Kicks. The Seltos will be powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 138 BHP and 242 Nm of torque. It will come with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard.
4. Kia Sportage:
The Baleno is a premium hatchback that is sold in international markets. It is a very stylish car with a lot of features and it is expected to be a hit among buyers in India. The Baleno is expected to launch in India in 2023.
